Terms for using Petcoset

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you, acting on behalf of a veterinary clinic, hospital, groomer, boarding facility or other pet-care business ("Business", "you"), and Petcoset Private Limited ("Petcoset", "we", "us"). By registering for, or otherwise using, the Petcoset platform, you accept these Terms in full.

Petcoset is a software-as-a-service platform for pet-care businesses that provides pet and client record management, appointment scheduling, treatment and prescription tracking, billing and invoicing, inventory management, reminders, AI assisted organisation and summaries, and related business analytics.

We may add, change or discontinue individual features over time as the platform evolves. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing the core functionality a Business relies on without reasonable notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• Restrict access to Petcoset to authorised staff of your Business and ensure they comply with these Terms.
• Notify us promptly through the contact page if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to use Petcoset to:

• Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including data protection and consumer protection laws applicable to pet owner and pet records.
• Upload malicious code, attempt to probe or breach the security of the platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the platform except as expressly permitted by a separate written agreement.
• Enter false medical or treatment information intended to mislead a pet owner, regulator or another party.

We may suspend or restrict access to accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms.

Access to Petcoset is provided on a subscription basis. Plan details, features and billing cycles are presented at the time of signup or as agreed between you and Petcoset. Subscription fees are billed in advance for the applicable billing period and, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, are non-refundable.

You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. If a payment fails and is not corrected within a reasonable period after notice, we may suspend access to your account until payment is resolved. Subscription fees may be revised with reasonable advance notice before the next billing cycle.

As between you and Petcoset, you own all pet records, client and pet-owner information, treatment notes, billing records and other data that you or your staff enter into Petcoset ("Customer Data"). We do not claim ownership over Customer Data.

You grant Petcoset a limited licence to host, process and display Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the platform, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents to enter pet-owner and pet data into Petcoset.

Petcoset's AI-assisted features help organise pet and client records, generate summaries of consultation history, and suggest reminders or follow-ups based on the data stored in your account.

These AI features are decision-support tools only. They do not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations, and they do not replace the professional judgment of a qualified veterinarian. All clinical decisions, diagnoses and treatment plans remain the sole responsibility of the licensed veterinary professionals using the platform. You should independently review any AI-generated summary or suggestion before relying on it.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Petcoset and its officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Except as otherwise required by applicable law, Petcoset's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will not exceed the amount you paid to Petcoset for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

You may stop using Petcoset and close your account at any time by contacting us through the contact page. We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately in cases of serious misuse, security risk or non-payment.

On termination, we will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your Customer Data for a limited period, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Petcoset will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over West Bengal, India, where Petcoset Private Limited is registered.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated to account holders through the application or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Petcoset after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
